Nina, a maid to the Young Duchess of Sanguine, finds herself reluctantly embroiled in a failed robbery, fleeing for her life with the mysterious Paxton Chrome.

With the Wolves pursuing them and no idea what it was that they stole, Nina just wants to make it home. But when Paxton works out that she is a Dreamer and lets slip what his true intentions are, Nina realises that they must trust each other just long enough to put a stop to the coming darkness.
